Senior Youth Club

Children liturgy.jpg

The Senior Youth club which has run over many years is currently being reviewed. The Senior Youth club would traditionally run on a Friday evening 7.00pm – 8.30pm. The club is open to St Anselm’s parish youth and ex-pupils of St Anselm’s Primary School – secondary transfer up to 16 years of age. The club runs weekly (term-time and exceptions of any parish events) in the old hall beneath the church. The club provides a particularly important link for the members as the club continues to support them through the important transition to secondary school and into their teenage years with our Church community. The club seeks to offer the youth a safe, fun environment to continue on the path they have started, to meet their friends on a regular basis. The club aims to guide and prepare the members for all the pressures they have ahead of them. There is no annual membership fee, but we charge £1 per session to help towards equipment/materials and tuck. Activities These range from indoor games – table tennis, board games, soft ball games, arts and craft session, including cookery (using the onsite kitchen).
